National Children's Grief Awareness Day

Annie’s Hope – The Bereavement Center for Kids proudly recognizes National Children’s Grief Awareness Day on Thursday, November 15th, 2012.  Annie’s Hope is encouraging everyone to wear blue in honor of children who are coping with the death of a loved one.  On this day, staff at McAlister’s Deli in Des Peres (12101-A Manchester Road, Des Peres MO 63131) will join with Annie’s Hope from 4:30pm to 7pm to offer information and activities that raise awareness of childhood grief.

In addition, Annie’s Hope is raffling off a “house” made of 50 scratch-off lottery tickets.  Raffle tickets are $10 and can be purchased from now until 5pm on National Children’s Grief Awareness Day (November 15th) by calling Annie’s Hope at (314) 965-5015 or visiting http://www.annieshope.org/donate.html.  Write “raffle tickets” in the “optional comments” space at the end of the transaction.  You may also purchase raffle tickets at McAlister’s between 4:30 and 6:00pm on November 15th.  The winner will be drawn at 6:30pm.
