Peer2Peer Alliance: Navigating the Teen Years

As children transition from their elementary school years to become middle and high school students, parents find themselves facing new challenges. They often find that their ability to supervise their teenagers’ activities isn’t as easy as it once was. These years bring a new, greater set of risks as teens learn behaviors that will influence them throughout their lives.
Join us for an informative conversation with professionals who interact with teens everyday. Chris Ohlemeyer, MD, adolescent medicine specialist, will guide the evening’s panel discussion. Our special guest, Robert “Bo” Kennedy, MD, St. Louis Children’s Hospital emergency department physician, will be joined by members of Kirkwood police and EMS, a KHS educational support counselor and local parents. Topics will include setting boundaries, new driver laws, keeping our teens safe, and the dangers teens face when using alcohol and drugs.
This event is free and open to the public.
