On Saturday, December 15 from 9:00 am to noon, The Magic House is partnering with the Saint Louis Art Museum, one of the nation's leading comprehensive art museums, to offer a Printmaking Workshop. At this special workshop participants, ages 10-14, will experience printmaking inspired by the Art Museum's collection and professional artist Adelia Parker. Participants will learn the fundamentals of printmaking as they create original works fo art using the processes of batiking, relief printing and monotyping to create their own book, T-shirt or wall hanging.
The Printmaking Workshop is part of The Magic House's Arts Partnership Initiative, a collaborative project between The Magic House and area art institutions to bring unique art experiences to children through a series of workshops led by local artists.
