MoDOT holds a public meeting to discuss a project to improve the flow of traffice on Interstate 270 between Interstate 44 and Manchester Road. MoDOT plans to add another northbound lane between I-44 and Manchester and an additional southbound lane between Dougherty Ferry Road and I-44. Because of roadway restrictions, all lanes will be narrowed to 11 feet wide. Construction on the project will start this year and is scheduled to be completed in December 2013. Participants may attend the meeting at any time.
