Webster University Choral Ensembles Present Carl Orff's Powerful "Carmina Burana"
The Webster University Choral Ensembles present Carl Orff's powerful "Carmina Burana" featuring Soprano Heather McKenzie Patterson, Baritone Jeffrey Heyl and Trent Patterson, conducting. "Carmina Burana" is a scenic cantata composed by German composer Carl Orff in 1935 and 1936, based on 24 medieval poems found in the early nineteenth century in southern Germany.
The concert will also feature Keith Wehmeier, tenor; Matthew Mazzoni and Joe Neske, piano and Webster University student percussionists.
