Webster University Hosts Book-Signing for "Missouri Harvest: A Guide to Growers and Producers in the Show-Me State"

Webster University will host an author talk and book-signing for "Missouri Harvest" on April 19, at 7 p.m. in the Library Conference Room of Webster University's Emerson Library, 101 Edgar Road. This event is free and open to the public.

Webster University Press (www.webster.edu/wup) announces the release of the first definitive guide to producers and growers in Missouri. Did you know that Missouri has the second-largest number of farms in the United States? Missouri farmers grow and raise an amazing variety of foods: vegetables, grains, fruits, meats, dairy products and more. "Missouri Harvest" takes you on a tour of all the "Show-Me State" has to offer for those interested in eating and shopping locally, whether you are a committed locavore or just developing an interest.
