Kirkwood Hardee's Offering 'Stars for Heroes'

along with locations throughout the U.S. are running a "Stars for Heroes" program where patrons can donate $1 to assist military families and communities in exchange for coupons worth up to $10.

Those who donate also will receive a "patriotic Stars for Heroes" cut out to personalize and display in the restaurant.

The campaign, which is in its second year, started April 25 and will run for three weeks, with a national fundraising goal of $1 million.
