As the spring leaves and summer rolls around, the weather is not the only thing to change with the seasons. Along with summer comes songs that set the tone for your cookouts, pool days, and weddings. So what makes the perfect summer song? According to NPR’s article The Good Listener: What Makes A Summer Song? Stephen Thompson cites simplicity as the number one factor in a summer hit.
