Pros Pump Pioneers for Day at Dome
Two St. Louis Rams cheerleaders and tight end Lance Kendricks promoted Sunday's Rams vs. Eagles game at Kirkwood High School Friday night.
A relentless stream of football fans flocked to the Rams tent at Friday night.
They waited for autographs from St. Louis Rams cheerleaders Morgan Wallace and Aundrea Palmer and RamsΒ tight end Lance Kendricks. The pros came out to the Pioneers' football game against Seckman High School to promote Kirkwood School District Day at the Rams' home opener Sunday against the Phildelphia Eagles.
The Kirkwood High School Band will perform before the game Sunday, and throughout the game, Kirkwood alum and Eagles' superstar wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is sure to put on a show for Pioneers in attendance.

"I just picked up the phone one day, and Ginger (Fletcher, Kirkwood School District Director of Community Relations,) was very receptive," said Matt Honerkamp, a group sales rep for the Rams.
"The Rams saw it would be a great opportunity," Fletcher said. "(Maclin) is still very involved in the Kirkwood community. ... We are excited to support him and to support the Rams."

On Friday night, the crowd buzzed with excitement as the Pioneers led Seckman throughout the game, which ended in a resounding 42-7 victory for Kirkwood.
During the game, the sold tickets for Sunday's Rams vs. Eagles game at $35 a piece. The district has already sold almost 1,000 tickets for Sunday's Rams home opener. They are asking everyone to wear red and white to the game to support the band and Maclin.
