Dr. Paul Robinson of
Concordia Seminary will conduct a 7-week series on the well-known expeditions
of the Middle Ages, designed to recover the Holy Land from Islam and to retain
it in Christian hands. These pilgrimages, called "Crusades,” were the
result of many forces - religious, political and social.
Discussion will range over
many topics, including the Knights Templar, the relationship between the
Western and Eastern/Orthodox churches, and the relationship between Christians
and Muslims.
