Wellness Tip Sheet for Women

Historically women were responsible for keeping the peace and placing others needs above their own.

Unfortunately, it takes a great deal of time to change ingrained behavior patterns. Those of us who continue to live up to others expectations may suffer with depression, anxiety, grief and physical issues. Trying to be all things to everyone may take a substantial toll on us.

A significant question to ask of yourself is just how angry are you? I ask this because anger is frequently the other side of depression. Are you exhibiting feelings of depression? Taking this a step further, when we have feelings of depression, anxiety or grief physical symptoms may develop. Stress responses may include headaches, backaches and heart palpitations to name a few.
