• Mo. officer who says she meant to use TASER agrees to license probation 7 years after shooting (police1.com) — Residents of Ladue may want to know that former Ladue police officer Julia Crews has accepted probation on her Missouri law enforcement license, seven years after shooting a fleeing shoplifting suspect she says she meant to stun with a Taser. She previously had her assault charge dismissed through an agreement with the victim, resigned from Ladue's force, and now continues working as a court bailiff for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
