30023My grandfather made this back in the mid 1960's. It's made from Butternut wood, and is in great shape for being almost 50 years old. There's a matching 8 foot dining table with 3 leaves and a beautiful pedestal, along with 6 chairs that desperately need reupholstering, and the table surface needs a little attention to a couple of splits in the wood, it tends to sag even without the leaves in it. Anyway, these are sitting in my storage locker, and in a few months I'm getting married, and there's no room for either of them in the house we live in...bottom line is, they're costing me $61 a month in storage fees, so the sooner I can move them, the sooner I can start saving that $61 a month...I live near Alton, IL so if you're interested, we can just meet at the storage locker and you can decide then if you want either of them. The China Cabinet is 2 pieces, and the top piece just sits on the bottom piece, and also each shelf has a plate notch in the center at the back of it to display a plate upright. It breaks my heart selling these, but it breaks my wallet paying storage fees every month...I would like to get $600 for the cabinet, and the table will be a make an offer deal when you get there...you can see a corner of it in these 2 pictures, but that's all I have at the moment. You can call me at 618-300-2391 and leave a message if necessary.
