MoBAP, Mercy Hospital Top Missouri's Best List

According to a just released U.S. News And World Report list, West County's Mercy Hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center and Barnes-Jewish West made the list of top hospitals in St. Louis and Missouri.

According toΒ FOX 2 News, theΒ U.S. News and World Report’s annual β€œBest Hospitals” rankings reports puts Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Mercy Hospital at #1 and #2 in the St. Louis area and the state of Missouri.

Mercy Hospital St. LouisΒ rankedΒ #2 in the St. Louis area and #2 in the state of Missouri, while Missouri Baptist Medical Center ranked #2 in St. Louis and 4th in the state. St. Luke's also ranked 4th in St. Louis and 8th in Missouri, whileΒ Barnes-Jewish West rankedΒ #5 in the St. Louis area and #12 in Missouri.

β€œI am very proud of all of our team members who consistently provide high quality and compassionate care,” Doug Black,Β Barnes-JewishΒ WestΒ CountyΒ HospitalΒ president stated in a news release.Β β€œThis honor is testament that they continue to excel at what they do best.”

The mainΒ Barnes-Jewish Hospital ranked 15th in the countryΒ and Mercy has made the β€œBest Hospitals” list 24 years in a row, the report states.

According to U.S. News and World Report, this is the 24th year for theΒ rankings which evaluateΒ nearly 5,000 medical centers across the country. The report also breaks down the rankings byΒ medical specialty,Β stateΒ andΒ city.
