Beware of Dangerous Coyotes in the area

Last night around 10:15 p.m., we let our two small dogs out into our yard protected by an electric pet fence before they went to bed for the evening.  A short while later, we found them both dead of what appeared to be an animal attack.  We contacted the Frontenac Police who came to investigate and suggested that we have our veterinarian examine them to try to determine exactly what happened since we didn't hear or see anything.  After her examination, she feels rather confident based on their injuries and where their bodies were found in our yard that they were attacked and killed by at least 2 coyotes or other large animals.  Please be careful with your small animals and keep a close eye on them.  We are deeply saddened to have lost our two dogs in this manner and they will be missed tremendously.
