Number of Homes Sold in Ladue Area is Up for the Year

Average Price of Homes Sold across the Ladue School District is stable so far this year compared to last, but the number of homes sold in 2012 has increased!

The Ladue area continues to be in demand with its top-ranked public and private schools and ease of access to our region.  The number of transactions for the year is up 31% for the first 3 quarters of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.

Average home sold prices appear stable and are virtually the same comparing the first 3 quarters in 2011 and 2012, although there has been particular success in the upper price brackets this year:

We are heading in the right direction.  I hope this foreshadows good things to come in the real estate market in the New Year!  Unit volume is a leading indicator and price should be expected to follow.  For now, even stable prices are a cause for celebration (and decision-making!!!).
