What Can You Buy In Ladue and Frontenac for $500,000?

I expect the strong demand that we saw in the Ladue area in 2012 to continue and gain momentum in 2013.  There were 26 single family homes in the Ladue School District that sold for between $490K to $525K. 

Below are two examples of homes that sold for around $500,000 in Ladue and Frontenac.

43 Granada Way located in the popular La Hacienda neighborhood off of Ladue Road.  This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house includes approximately 2,800 sq ft.  The home was originally listed for $569,000, took several price reductions and eventually sold for $500,000.  The home was being sold as-is in an estate and required some work. 

2958 Devondale located in the Radcliffe neighborhood in Frontenac.  This home is located on nearly an acre lot and includes many updates throughout the home.  This 3 bedroom /3 bath home was originally listed for $559,000 and eventually reduced to $539,000 and sold for $515,000.
