“A lot of designers charge a consultation fee. We do a free, in-home consultation. It is a complimentary service from us,” store manager Greg Norman said.

Although the store specializes in custom draperies and fabrics, it also offers custom bedding, tablecloths, slipcovers, and a collection of carved wood and upholstered furniture frames. Offerings include more than 250 different styles of large-scale sofas, dining chairs, settees, ottomans and more.

“We just partnered with Robert Allen, and we have his Dwell Studio collection. We also have 26 designer fabric books from Robert Allen to expand our fabric collection,” Norman said.

Dwell Studio is a modern line of home interior fabrics. It speaks to younger consumers who want to be ultra trendy and have that young, hip look in their home. Stop by often, as new fabrics arrive monthly, Norman said.

Calico Corners will reupholster your existing furniture. They will pick up your furniture item and deliver it back to you, reupholstered at no additional charge. Calico Corners ensures your satisfaction, or they will redo their work. The guarantee and delivery service includes new custom furniture as well as reupholstered furniture.

“We get most upholstery orders from dog owners with chewed up cushions. We love pet owners,” Norman said with a laughed.
