Bonsack Gallery Opening

The John Burroughs School fine arts faculty will exhibit its works in a mixed media show in the  Bonsack Gallery from April 13 through May 8.  The show is representative of the diverse interests and strengths of the department’s artists/teachers.

Included in the show will be works by department chair Anne Martin (ceramics and sculpture), Donya Allison (drawing, painting and printmaking), Andrew Denney (ceramics), Howard Jones (drawing, painting, photography and printmaking) and Andrew Newman (photography).

All are invited to a public reception hosted by the artists from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Friday, April 13. A concurrent opening of an exhibit in the school’s Kuehner Gallery will feature the works of sculptor Jerald Jacquard. Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. The exhibits are free to the public. For more information, contact Anne Martin by phone (314/993-4040, ext. 258) or by e-mail.
