Ladue resident selected as 2016 Bank of America Student Leader

Ladue resident and MICDS student Isabel Fenoglio selected for the 2016 Bank of America Student Leader Program

Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School senior Isabel Fenoglio is one of five St. Louis-area teens selected to be part of the 2016 Bank of America Student Leaders program this summer. The program awards the students a paid, eight-week summer internship at a local nonprofit and a trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Bank of America Student Leadership Summit.

Frustrated by the lack of opportunities for quality education in Missouri, Isabel volunteers at ‘Girls Giving,’ a youth initiative that strives to educate young women in nonprofit management and grant-making. Isabel also seeks inspiration on community involvement from family members, producing a 10-minute documentary film on her grandpa, Dr. Bernard Davis, who worked with the Medical Committee for Human Rights during the Civil Rights Movement. Isabel looks forward to forging her own path of community action that will ignite lasting change in St. Louis.

As part of the Bank of America Student Leaders program, Isabel received a paid eight-week internship. Isabel is interning at the St. Louis Public Radio. The internships provide students with valuable work experience while also supporting the nonprofits with extra help this summer.
