Patti Hageman New Director Of The Volunteer Lawyers Program

Patti Hageman of Ladue, has joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) as the new Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP).
“We are delighted to welcome Patti Hageman as our new director of this vitally important program,” said Dan Glazier, Executive Director and General Counsel for LSEM. “Patti is a strong leader with a wide network of contacts in the legal community and the St. Louis area in general. We anticipate she will make important contributions in her role connecting local attorneys who want to provide pro bono representation with our cases at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, where they can help close the justice gap for our low-income clients.”
Hageman said she looks forward to leading the VLP program - the pro bono and volunteer component of LSEM that leverages the power of a large network of volunteer lawyers to serve thousands of low-income and elderly Missourians.

“Nearly 30 percent of families in St. Louis County and City live in poverty, and the poverty rates are rising throughout eastern Missouri,” said Hageman. “Legal Services of Eastern Missouri works toward removing the legal barriers that prevent low-income families from overcoming poverty and violence. I am proud to be joining full-time in that mission.”
In her new role, Hageman will be responsible for coordinating lawyer referrals for clients, recruitment of lawyers and volunteers in the community, administrative duties and the supervision of staff members in the program.
