Presidential Scholar Candidate for Villa Duchesne
Catherine Wagner selected from more than 3.4 million high school seniors
Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School's Catherine Wagner has been named a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. She is one of 3,000 students selected from the more than 3.4 million high school seniors graduating this year.
Scholars are named in May on the basis of their superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and community involvement.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 by Executive Order of the President.
