Veteran educator Judy Sclair, Ed.D, has been tapped to join the growing team at St. Louis-based BAFC Consulting, LLC. Beginning July 1, Sclair will assume the role of vice president – administration for the firm, which has emerged as a leader in educational and nonprofit consulting services in Missouri since launching in 2012. In her new role, Sclair will assume a broad range of responsibilities, including management of all contracts and billing. She will also take a leadership role in new business development. Sclair has spent more than thirty-one years as an educator in Missouri and Illinois, including 24 years as a school administrator. Most recently, Sclair served as acting superintendent of the Ladue School District in St. Louis County. Her varied career also has included stints as assistant superintendent for human resources in both the Ladue School District and the School District of University City. Sclair also was a building principal for seventeen years. In addition to her work in elementary and secondary education, Sclair has taught a number of doctoral-level courses as an adjunct professor at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. “Judy is a wonderful addition to our team,” said Charles Farris, Ph.D., president and CEO of BAFC Consulting. “Her experience and expertise will play a crucial role in our organization as we continue to grow in the years to come.” BAFC Consulting was formed in 2012 to meet the unique needs of nonprofits, school districts, charter schools and other learning institutions.
