Real stories told from a different view: 'from the side' -- SIDESHOW, that is!


This month we feature remarkable people with not-so-ordinary lives who
will be sharing their personal stories for us and competing for story of
the night as well as a SoSlam trophy! As well, we have amazing
'sideshow' performances from a cast of truly unique entertainers.


Our featured call-in guest this month is PAT PROFT, screenwriter of
hilarious and iconic films such as 'Police Academy,' 'Hot Shots,' 'The
Naked Gun,' 'Bachelor Party,' and most
recently: 'Scary Movie 5.' Pat will be telling his own story to fit
June's theme, as well as answering questions from the audience.


Our featured poet this month is Ken Kase. Kase's debut, "Seven
Sonnets," is a recent publication illustrated by St. Louis cartoonist
John Blair Moore.

Joining our luscious lineup for June are
sideshow talents whose stories and performances will AMAZE and ASTOUND,
fill you with ASTONISHMENT and make you GASP out loud!

Our
audience will vote to pick the best story of the night; winning
storyteller gets $50 and goes on to compete in our year-end Story Slam
Championship for a chance to win $500!

This show is intended for MATURE, open-mined audiences. It's raw, unscripted, uncensored and REAL.  $5 standing room, $7 seated (or donation)
