'Tis the Season for Sweaters. Variety is the Spice of Life

There is nothing more comfortable or cozy than a soft, warm sweater.

It has been said that variety is the spice of life. Variety is certainly the spice of fall and winter fashion this season, especially when it comes to sweaters.

You will find sweaters that range from classic, to chic, to trendy this year. There truly is something for everyone.

This season, sweaters vary in length, from cropped, to mid-thigh, to mid-calf – each one is designed uniquely.

And colors run the gamut, with bright, bold colors as a season hit, while more conservative black, brown, grey and neutral are abundantly available and never go out of style.

Have you given up on sweaters because they are too bulky adding weight to even the tiniest fashionista? It is time to try, try again.

The knitwear of today is not like the bulky, boxy cottons of the ‘90’s. Modern knitwear is made of some of the lightest, most luxurious fabrics available such as silk, merino and cashmere. Add a touch of satin or fur details and it is the finest garment you can own.

Popular this year is an updated modern sleeveless sweater vest for woman. Also high in demand are mid-thigh sweaters worn over leggings. Add a pair of above-the-knee boots and your look is complete.

The cinched-in-at-the-waist look shows off your hard work at the gym. Belted sweaters show off your tiny waist and girlie figure.

Men’s Sweaters

Sweaters for men are not just for added warmth or for heading to the ski slopes any more. Today, sweaters are a part of a man’s everyday wardrobe and more of a fashion piece than they were a decade ago.

Sweaters can be worn casually with jeans or for a dressier look, layer a turtleneck or V-neck under a sport jacket. Classic looks for men never go out of style.

It is all about softness with cashmere, wool mix and other knits this season. These fabrics are as practical as you are and will keep you warm this winter.
