Purk & Associates, P.C. Names Christopher Madison, CPA, as Shareholder, Director of Employee Benefit Plan Division

November 1, 2012 (St. Louis) – Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading, independently owned St. Louis-based accounting and management advisory firm, announced today that R. Christopher “Chris” Madison joined the firm as a Shareholder, and Director of the Employee Benefit Plans Group.

In his new role, Madison will lead and oversee the management of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Group working in the areas of audit and management consulting, serving a wide variety of employee benefit plans and closely held businesses. Prior to joining Purk & Associates, he was a partner with another accounting firm.

Madison received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Pittsburg State University located in Pittsburg, KS. He is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).  Madison is a nationally known guest lecturer often teaching courses offered by the IFEBP.
