Euro 2012 Soccer: Germany dominates Greece 4-2, Germany rolls into semi-finals.

Germany rolls over Greeks in Gdansk, Poland.

Germany with their 4-2 win today over Greece advanced to the European Championship semi finals for a record seventh time.  

The Germans missed on many early opportunities, but their captain Phillip Lahm put the Germans ahead with one of the Germans quality goals today.

The Germans are playing very well as a team, and are starting to look like the tournament favorite.   They have many weapons, and one of their playmaking midfielders Mesut Ozil had a solid game for Germany.

Greece doesn't have to hang it's heads  They played well, and today were without captain Giorgos Karagounis.   But they were clearly overpowered today.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, a big soccer fan, made the trip for the match and stood to cheer every time her team scored.

"The European Championship's viewership is up big from four years ago.The average audience in the United States was up 82 percent for English-language broadcasts through the group stage."
