I've been spending some time cleaning up my iPhotos, and it sparked a new blogging concept for me. It is called the Five Picture Story. The concept is that you pick five random photos from your collection, and then build a story around them. Here is volume one.
It is another fine night just south of the Arch in Saint Louis. The Eat-Rite Diner won't be open for another hour so eating was out of the question for now. Instead it is time to take a walk over to the place in Soulard and check out the drag queens. I hear that there is someone performing tonight that looks just like Lady Gaga. It will be a good way to start the night. The air is beautiful. It is clean and crisp, and it reminds me of that long desert hike where the land was littered with wonderful cacti. A few blocks away, there is a great view of the river, even though the riverfront in Saint Louis isn't typical Mississippi River habitat, it reminds me of my two favorite river things: paddling down the river and watching the Bald Eagles in ther natural habitat. Enough of this wandering around, it is time for a slider. Eat-Rite, here I come.
