When I educate people at the St. Louis Earth Day and Green Home & Great Health festivals I’m often asked if Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs(CLF) contain mercury.  When I confirm they do, in fact, contain a small amount of mercury festival attendees then ask, “If they contain mercury aren’t they dangerous for the environment?”  While there is no simple answer to this question I would like to remove any confusion on the topic.  So today I’ll explain why CLF bulbs ARE better for our environment than incandescent bulbs and a few other lingering Compact Fluorescent Light bulb questions.... to continue click here.
