The Furriest Race in Town!

The of Missouri will once again host the “Furriest Race in Town!”  The 4th Annual Fast and the Furriest 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk will take place on April 29, 2012, at Tower Grove Park.

The event, which is sponsored by Purina ONE^®, will include a competitive 5K race and a fun 1 mile walk through the park.  Participants are welcome to run or walk with or without their dog.     

Prizes will be awarded at the event, and you can meet adoptable pets from the APA.  Also enjoy vendor booths and great give-a-ways.  Register by April 6 and receive your event t-shirt, goody bag and be eligible for the early bird entry fee.

Last year’s run/walk brought over 400 participants together to help the animals.  Once again all proceeds from the Fast and the Furriest will benefit the APA of Missouri, a non-profit organization that cares for approximately 5,000 unwanted and homeless animals each year.
