Saint Mary Magdalen CYC Participates in CYC Cardinal Night at Busch Stadium

The Catholic Youth Counsel of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis sponsored its annual CYC Night with the St. Louis Cardinals. This year’s game took place on Tuesday, June 30 against the Chicago White Sox.

All players and coaches who purchased tickets to the game were able to participate in a pre-game parade around Busch Stadium.

In addition to the opportunity to parade around the field, the top two parishes that sold the most tickets chose one athlete to throw out the first pitch to a Cardinal Player.

Saint Mary Magdalen and Our Lady of Lourdes were the top selling schools. Our student Jenna G. was the lucky girl who represented Saint Mary Magdalen and got to throw out the first pitch. She had her picture taken with a Cardinal Player and Fredbird as a momento. This was a night she will always remember.
