Eagle Scout Constructs Dog House For Shelter Pets
Brentwood High School senior completes project for Missouri Humane Society to fulfill his Eagle Scout requirements.
Dogs at a local pet shelter will have a more comfortable stay thanks to Eagle Scout Brett Easley. Brett, of Troop 360 chartered to North Glendale Elementary PTA, constructed a new dog house and donated it to the Missouri Humane Society.
The dog house consists of two insulated rooms covered by a removable shingled roof. The dog house will eventually go home with a new pet owner as part of the Missouri Humane Society’s education efforts to teach people how to properly care for their pet.
The son of Sarah and Mark Easley, Brett is the student body vice president at Brentwood High School where he is also a member of the varsity football and tennis teams. The 18-year-old senior also participates on the school’s drum line and A+ Program.
