Why: More people are using food pantries than ever before. As a fundraiser, cyclists typically spend $10-$20 total at participating grocers (TBA) and carry their own non-perishable items on the ride. Put on by local non-profit BicycleWORKS volunteers, proceeds go to Food Outreach another local non-profit. Cash donations are also accepted.

Details: Cranksgiving will take place in all but strong rain or ice. For more information, visit online: www.bworks.org or email info@bworks.org

Last year, the St. Louis Cranksgiving attracted more than 600 riders who collected more than 6,000 pounds of food, making it one of the leading Cranksgiving rides in the country.
