Following ACL Injury, Brentwood Ballet Dancer Stars as Juliet
Pamela Swaney will play a lead role in Saint Louis Ballet's performance of "Romeo and Juliet."
Pamela Swaney endured a potentially career-ending injury a little more than a year ago during a dress rehearsal when she tore her ACL.
After a trying recovery, the 27-year-old Brentwood resident is set to play the role of Juliet this weekend in Saint Louis Ballet's performance of Romeo and Juliet.
It's her biggest role since the injury. Swaney will perform in Sunday's show, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Touhill Performing Arts Center in St. Louis. Tickets range in price from $25 to $47.
