Golden Girls of the APA

Older dogs make wonderful companions for many reasons. They are veterans to the routine of daily life, so they are easier to adjust to a relaxed environment than puppies are. They have long left behind their puppy chewing phase, so your furniture and shoes can breathe a sigh of relief, and they are likely to be housetrained already!

In other words, older dogs make great pets because of their experience having already been pets! Right now the APA has several dogs that are at least 6 years old.

Chloe is a 10-year-old, spayed Beagle mix and is very loving. She wants to spend time with her people, likes the company of other dogs, and she is housetrained, too!

Jax is a 9-year-old, spayed Australian Shepherd who is housetrained, good on a leash, and enjoys the company of children, cats, and other dogs.

Bailey is a 7-year-old, spayed Beagle mix who is very social. Bailey loves to mingle with both cats and dogs, and she is very laid back in general.

Come meet these sociable and lovable ladies at 1705 S. Hanley Rd. You can visit all our adoptable animals at www.apamo.org
