Legal Services Of Eastern Missouri Welcomes Mary Miller As New Social Worker
New Social Worker In The Youth And Family Advocacy Program

Mary Miller has joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) as a new social worker in the Youth and Family Advocacy Program. This program, which is funded in part by the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, seeks to break the cycle of homelessness and instability in the lives of vulnerable youth and families in St. Louis County through legal services and supportive case management.
Miller, who received her Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in May 2016, served as a practicum student in LSEM’s Immigration Law Program in 2015.
In addition to her work at LSEM, Miller obtained clinical, case management and research experience through a variety of practicum placements including the St. Louis Integrated Health Network and Davita Dialysis.

After receiving her bachelor’s in French language and literature, with a minor in creative writing from New York University, Miller worked in an AmeriCorps position for the Literacy Council in Buncombe County (North Carolina).
Miller resides in Maplewood, Missouri.
