Mulligan Insurance Joins Valley Insurance Agency Alliance

Mulligan Insurance recently joined Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), a cohesive family of over 120 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois.

Mulligan Insurance was founded in 2019 by owner Lance Hall, who has more than 20 years of industry experience. The full-service agency specializes in personal lines, small commercial, and life insurance. Mulligan Insurance is located at 1010 Club Village Dr. in Columbia, Mo.

“Most recently I handled recruiting and agency development for an American insurance group, and I decided that I would like to create a business of my very own,” said Hall. “Valley Insurance Agency Alliance is the perfect partnership for my new business in terms offering extensive resources and multiple opportunities.” Hall added that the company name is due to his previous career as a golf professional, as well as working in sales for the PGA of America.

Founded in 2006, VIAA generates more than $195 million in written premium and is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a more than $8 billion national alliance.
