Pizza, Ribs, Whiskey at New Maplewood Restaurant
The Blind Tiger is the second venture for one of Maplewood's already-popular chefs.

One of Maplewoodβs most prominent spaces, the southeast corner of Manchester and Sutton, 7376 Manchester Road, is set toΒ be back in action.
MichaelΒ McLaughlin, proprietor of The Crowβs Nest, at 7336 Manchester Road, plans toΒ open The Blind Tiger at Sutton Place. The corner was most previously the Jumpinβ Jupiter, which left Maplewood following troubledΒ a year and a half.
McLaughlin said heβll rent the space for events, and also feature pizza, ribs and whiskey in a dining room.

The pizza crust will be a hybrid of New York and Chicago style, all made in-house, McLaughlin said. Diners will choose fromΒ bourbon marinara, brown butter, or olive oil sauces.Β The ribs will be cooked in the bourbon marinara sauce.
McLaughlin said the whiskies will be βlots of stuff youβd expect, and some higher-end whiskies.β Heβll also offer local draft beers.
