Park(ing) Day 2015 Turns Parking Spots into One-Day Parklets, Stresses Importance of Open Spaces.
Annual event raises awareness of pedestrian and bicycle safety, and supports the local community's commitment to parks and open space.
SWT Design has partnered with the City of Maplewood, MO and engineering firm Farnsworth Group to turn one parking spot along Manchester Road (adjacent to Shop n’ Save) into a temporary public park. The event will take place this Friday, September 18th from 8am to 5pm. Of course, the event is free and we encourage all to stop by and share their thoughts with us.
