Power Still Out in Parts of Brentwood, Maplewood

About 180 households in Maplewood and Brentwood remain without power following .

The Ameren outage map shows that 38 homes are without power in 63143 and 141 are in the dark in 63144. 

Ameren expects to restore power to the majority of its customers by late Tuesday night, said Richard Mark, senior vice president of Ameren Missouri customer operations. More than 1,000 Ameren workers are in the field throughout St. Louis.

The company is dealing with approximately 50 broken utility poles and extensive equipment damage, he said.
