John & Lavern O'Donnell (Nee Simmermann) were married on June 12, 1943 at St. Columbkille's Church, then located at Davis and Michigan Avenue in St. Louis, MO. Lavern worked at Kipp's Candies, and around that time met John and fell in love. In the years following, they were blessed with two sons and one daughter and, in 1955, moved to the Jefferson Barracks area of South County. John had a long career with Stupp Brothers Bridge Company while Lavern spent her time as an amazing wife, mother and homemaker. Their three children married and gave them six wonderful grandchildren, and those grandchildren so far have blessed them with seven incredible great-grandchildren. Their family and friends would like to extend all their love and wishes for a joyful filled 70th Anniversary!
