May is Stroke Awareness Month! When stroke occurs, it's very important to seek immediate medical care. So how do you tell if someone may be experiencing a stroke? St. Anthony's Medical Center, a certified primary stroke center in south St. Louis County, reminds you to think F.A.S.T.:
FACE: Look for an uneven smile.
ARM: Check if one arm is weak.
SPEECH: Listen for slurred speech.
TIME: Call 911 right away.
