Natalie R. Petzoldt, AIA, LEED, EDAC, is Named Cannon Design Principal and Central Region Health Leader – Advancing Cannon Design’s Healthcare Practice

Cannon Design, an internationally recognized architectural,
engineering, interior design and planning firm, is pleased to announce that Natalie R. Petzoldt, AIA, LEED, EDAC, has
been named Principal and Central Region Health Leader.

As principal healthcare planner, Ms. Petzoldt a resident of Oakville, has led innovative programs for the firm’s most significant academic medical centers and oncology facilities. These include long-range strategic campus planning programs for BJC HealthCare and Washington University School of Medicine, Banner MD Anderson CancerCenter in Phoenix, AZ and the Centre hospitalier de L’Universite de Montreal (CHUM), which, upon completion will be one of the largest academic medical centers in North America.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Petzoldt was one of the first participants selected for Cannon Design’s Healthcare Fellowship Program—a “fast-track” initiative to enhance the careers of healthcare professionals.

Ms. Petzoldt was named a Herman Miller Scholar by the American Institute of Architects/Academy of Architects
for Health. An authority on evidence-based design, Ms. Petzoldt was invited to speak on the topic at the American Community Cancer Center’s National Meeting and authored an article for the Multidisciplinary Cancer Care Journal. She
was also honored in both Building Design & Construction’s and the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 programs.
