
ST. LOUIS (September 26, 2012) – Dale E. Oberkfell has joined Midwest BankCentre (MBC) as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), following the retirement of former MBC CFO Ric Grimmer. MBC Chairman Ron Barnes made the announcement.
Based in the Lemay, Mo. branch, Oberkfell oversees MBC’s financial operations. He also facilitates its strategic planning process. Oberkfell has 33 years of banking and corporate accounting experience. Prior to joining MBC, he was executive vice president and CFO of Reliance Bank.
Oberkfell serves on the board of directors for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. He is a member of the Missouri Bankers Association, Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executive Institute. Oberkfell also participates on various Washington University alumni boards.

He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in both Missouri and Illinois.
Oberkfell earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and his master’s degree in business administration from Washington University, both in St. Louis, Mo.
