Stupp Named to Midwest BankCentre Legal Board of Directors

ST. LOUIS (December 18, 2012) –  R. Philip Stupp, Jr., president of the steel fabrication segment of Stupp Bros., Inc. in St. Louis, has been appointed to the Midwest BankCentre Legal Board of Directors.  

Founded in 1856, Stupp Bros. is a world leader in the application, fabrication and production of structural steel components and steel piping for major infrastructure improvement and capital expansion projects for the transportation, commercial, manufacturing and energy sectors.

Philip Stupp has nearly 30 years of experience in engineering and construction management.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo.

Stupp is a member of the Midwest BankCentre West County Regional Board and the Washington University Eliot Society, and a former member of the Engineers Club of St. Louis and director of the Central Fabricators Association. He also chairs the Legislative Action Committee of the National Steel Bridge Alliance. He is on the board of the American Institute of Steel Construction and is a member of Friends of Tower Grove Park, the Saint Louis Zoo, the Missouri Botanical Garden – Henry Shaw Associate, the Missouri Historical Society – Thomas Jefferson Society, and the Air War College Alumni Association.
