Area Businesses Spring Up in 2011
Mehlville and Oakville saw several new businesses in the past year.
Despite a recession, many new businesses arrived in South County this year.
Restaurants hit the scene as expanded into Oakville and Italian cuisine's came to Concord.
On the more casual side, took over the old El Pollo Loco on Lemay Ferry Road. The food court at the South County Mall also increased with Extreme Pita and a stand.

Oakville moms Amy Nielsen and Beth Kullmann brought sweetness to the area with their cupcake and bakery joint, . Mehlville resident Sunny Sun also opened up on Telegraph Road near Walmart.
Outside of food, took over the old Circuit City on Lindbergh Boulevard. That strip of Lindbergh saw more change later in the year when and game store V Stock came to town.
