Artisanal Cheeses Arrive at Schnuck’s on Butler Hill

Visit Butler Hill Schnuck's today between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and sample a new line of handcrafted cheeses complete with wine and beer pairings.

Schnuck’s at 4333 Butler Hill introduces a line of Artisanal cheese to the St. Louis market. Join your friends and neighbors in a sampling and pairing event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The event introduces the handcrafted, cave-aged Artisanal cheeses that will be a Schnuck’s exclusive in the St. Louis area.

Artisanal has a unique way of helping shoppers choose the very best beers and wines to pair with their offerings, the CheeseClock system. A colorful, circular poster on display categorizes the cheese selections by boldness of flavor (mild, medium, bold and strong), and assigns a color to each category. Wines and beers in the liquor department are fitted with hang- tags in the color of the cheese intensity that they complement. Perfect pairing becomes a simple task of matching the colors on the products.

For shopping convenience, all of the eight Artisanal cheese selections are in the cold section of the liquor department. The color-coded system on display makes it quick and easy for shoppers to optimize their pairings. Schnuck’s offers eight cheeses from the Artisanal collection, two from each flavor category.
