St. Louis Enterprise Center is now STLVentureWorks!

The St. Louis County Economic Council recently unveiled its new branding and services!  St. Louis Enterprise Centers will now be called STLVentureWorks and will include even more on-site support for new business start-ups and now features networking and customized mentoring. River City Casino Event Center Opens June 6th!

River City Casino’s new Event Center is well underway, and ahead of schedule! The new Event Center and upcoming 200-room hotel are part of River City Casino’s $82 million dollar expansion which will further extend the property’s distinctive guest amenities and entertainment offering. Raising the bar for entertainment in St. Louis, River City Casino has announced the first several performances it will host at its highly anticipated, state-of-the-art, 14,000 square-foot Event Center.  The new center boasts cutting edge audio, dynamic lighting, and innovative video technology with seating up to 1,150 (up to 1,400 with standing room)... Missouri Civil War Museum opening in June!  

The Missouri Civil War Museum is almost ready to open!  River City Casino’s Pinnacle Foundation is looking forward to presenting the final $19,000 check, which covers the funds needed to open the museum, at a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in June!  The Missouri Civil War Museum is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization, incorporated in 2002 for the purpose of saving the historic Jefferson  Barracks 1905 Post Exchange Building and converting it into what will become Missouri’s largest and finest Civil War museum, library, and educational center. The museum is located within the Jefferson Barracks Historic Site, which is recognized as the oldest active military installation west of the Mississippi River. The Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery was established during the Civil War and is the final resting place for 16,000 Civil War soldiers from the Union and the Confederacy...
