Capri: Having a Blast While Waiting for her Forever Family
Capri is now living in a foster home, but can be adopted today!
This week’s Pooch of the Week has had this prestigious honor before, but she is so special that she deserves it again! first held the title back in June when she was living down the Stray Rescue Shelter. She was one of the first dogs to participate in the Stray Rescue Tuesday program sponsored by The Watering Bowl. She was chosen to spend the day at TWB because all of the workers and volunteers at Stray Rescue know what a sweet, even-tempered kind of gal she is.
Life has been kind to Capri since her days at the shelter. While she has yet to be adopted, she has gone to live in a foster home. All of the foster parents at Stray Rescue are amazing, but Capri’s foster daddy goes above and beyond. Since Capri has gone into foster care, she has been building her confidence and social skills by coming to play at TWB at least once a week. TWB staff can really tell a difference in her since she started coming regularly.
Capri has really come out of her shell. She absolutely loves to rastle, especially with fellow Stray Rescue dogs. It’s as if they know they belong to this special group. TWB is fortunate enough to have lots of Stray Rescue alums who have since gotten adopted and are now living the life with their forever family. Seeing these dogs run and play with carefree looks on their faces gives all the folks at TWB hope that Capri’s future looks just like that.

This one-year old Shepherd/Terrier mix would do well in any family situation. She loves being around other dogs, but doesn’t mind getting one on one attention from people either. As long as she has someone to love her unconditionally, she will be happy.
Check out Stray Rescue if you think you can give that to Capri!
