Catch the Fostering Bug at Stray Rescue!

Do you want to add a 4-year-old black Lab mix to your family?

There are so many awesome foster parents out there, and many of them don't get the recognition that they deserve. Stray Rescue, however, honored one foster dad by naming a rescue pooch after him. How cool is that?! I personally have not met the dog, Phil Adams, but based on his brief bio on the Stray Rescue website, it sounds like he is almost as awesome as his namesake!

Phil regularly brings his foster dogs to . , for example, has been coming since early March.  A lot has changed since Maura was first featured as Pooch of the Week.  was described as a dog that enjoyed exploring, but not rastlin' with other dogs. That could not be further from the truth.  Maura has really come out of her shell and absolutely loves to rastle and play with all of her friends.  She is on the move the entire time she is at TWB. Maura is a rambunctious gal that would do well with a family that likes to stay active.

Maura is smitten with her new foster brother, Keyser, and it's easy to tell why. This adorable 4-year-old black Lab mix is a fun-loving kind of guy! He is good-looking and always up for a good time.  Maura and Keyser get along fabulously!  Who knows, maybe there is a family out there looking for two playful pooches!

Keyser is available for adoption through Stray Rescue.  Although he is not listed on the website, simply fill out an adoption application and mention his name.  Filling out the application does not mean you are 100 percent interested in adopting Keyser.  It simply means you are interested in getting to know him better.

If you have caught the fostering bug, check out Stray Rescue to find out more information on this invaluable service.  Being a foster parent is such a rewarding experience, and you are helping the abused and neglected dogs of St. Louis more than you know.
